Users' Review of TransLoc Transit Visualization

Sure this app is a great idea, but on the Android it is very sad compared to the iPhone's. First, there are some buses that aren't even there. You almost need to get to the stop early because there might be an extra bus that the app didn't put on its map. Second, the timing is almost never correct. It tells me 16 minutes and the bus is passing me and my stop up ahead 14 minutes before it says it was suppose to be there. (Sounds great if you are at the stop) I just want it to be updated or redone bc it sucks

Not quite as good as the iPad app, and I don't know what their iPhone app is like, but if you know how to use a standard New York City subway map this is great. I think most of the difference comes from adapting the app to the screen. Not only does it have a normal and easy to read map, it has extra features like picking your line and train and getting updates on how it is running. I don't know how instant the updates are, but I do know it has informed me when there are ongoing issues like construction etc.

I'm entering a valid credit card and it's not accepting it it says please enter valid credit card information. I'm sure I put the right info my card is not expired and has plenty money on it , it's a visa card ..any reason why it's not working for me?

As a NYer, one of my major complaints has always been about how difficult it is to get a taxi. As a performer, my biggest issue was finding a cab who was willing to take me to my area of town after a gig. UBER HAS FIXED ALL OF THAT! I've been using Uber for 6 months now and I haven't had one bad experience. Every car is clean, every driver was courteous and professional, and I've felt safer than I've ever felt. Thank God for Uber!
